About

I'm a life-long fashion addict with a DIY attitude.  I’ve appeased my disease by creating my own jewelry and other accessories.  I learned to sew at age 7, crochet at 9, and won a blue ribbon for my rock collection at 11.  Knowledge passed down from family, gained through various art classes, and discovered by scavenging thrift stores and gem shops generated my priorities of quality construction, finer materials, and creative design.  My jewelry has hints of other genres: crochet, applique, plaiting, painting.

Having been drenched in scholarly sobriety as an art history student, I vowed not to be so serious and to inject my designs with a flair for fun.  I’m flattered when someone chooses to wear my work, for they adorn themselves with a slice of my time and creative energy.  And I’m immensely honored to discover that on occasion, something I’ve made becomes a cherished treasure, attaining a personal meaning beyond mere adornment.  This is what truly makes my efforts worthwhile!
